Have you a few hours to spare on the occasional Tuesday? If so, then Ipswich Arts Association would like to hear from you. We are looking for more volunteer stewards to welcome visitors to St Peter’s by the Waterfront Church on Tuesdays from May to September. In addition to welcoming people, stewards are asked to highlight the information available about the various displays in the church, which include the history of the church and the local area, the wonderful Ipswich Charter Hangings and a rare Tornai marble font.

Times slots are 10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm and volunteers may cover as many, or as few, sessions as they would like to during the summer period. As we need two volunteers to cover each session, a friend or partner would be very welcome to join you. If you are interested in helping, even with just one or two sessions, or want more information about what is involved, please contact:

Ann Cloke on 07715 132591 or email: ann.cloke@ntworld.com

More information about the Ipswich Charter Hangings can be found on the IAA website: www.ipswich-arts.org.uk/charter-hangings/
