WAMfest
‘Felixstowe Festival Events was initially established in 2017 for Ferry Fest Felixstowe.
In 2020 WAMfest (Women Arts and Music) Felixstowe was born for International Women’s Day to celebrate the creativity of women.
The Festival is now in its 4th year and is host to a fabulous array of artists showcasing music, literature, art, and dance at multiple venues over a week in the autumn.
We also held a wellbeing day in March 2024 to mark International Women’s Day. We have commissioned two beautiful murals in Felixstowe town centre created by Catalina Carvajal.
We are proud to support women in all their creative endeavours. ‘
