Felixstowe Community Choir - Member Organisations

Felixstowe Community Choir is a choir for those over 18 who enjoy singing pop song and songs from musicals. For more news about the choir watch this website, local press and media, Twitter and Facebook.

Around 60-100 men and women of all ages attend and have a wide repertoire of songs from The Beatles to Adele. There is no audition to join, and singers do not need to read music, as sheet music is not used. The weekly fee is £5 per person payable on the door.

Our music coach is Emily Bennett from Felixstowe, a professional musician and teacher, who gets everyone laughing and singing – including the majority of members who have never sung in a choir before.

As a community non-profit-making choir, run by volunteers, all profits are donated to charities, suggested by the members. Since the choir began in October 2012, they have directly donated £30,000 for local and national causes, as well as appearing in many charity concerts and events.
