Lady J’s Autumn Marvels
A fabulous night of East Anglian Entertainment!
Lady J is back hosting a new selection of her favourite regional acts across
music, storytelling, poetry and improv. Expect an eclectic night of
entertainment that will leave you feeling all warm inside from an evening
well spent in the company of some of our region’s finest!
The Autumn Marvels are:
John Row
Internationally renowned storyteller and poet, bringing us tales and autobiographical
musings of his extraordinary life from his new book “Pootling Through”
EllY Tree
A favourite of the Suffolk scene, EllY Tree (aka Helen Woodbridge) writes
unusual, original and compelling songs in an acoustic/indie-folk/world style
Virginia Betts
Accomplished poet, performer and author, Virginia will be sharing
her evocative poetry from across her collections
Joe and Mary
Wonderfully entertaining acoustic duo from Norfolk playing Country/Blues/
Americana style, singing about love with all its ups, downs and inbetweens!
Carys
A Suffolk singer/songwriter who has toured in Europe, Carys writes
songs that tell stories, performed with enthusiasm and natural charm
The Unqualified Yes
Yes, your hostess Lady J – aka Justine de Mierre – is bringing along her
improv pals this time – expect games, scenes from audience suggestions
and even the odd instant song if you’re lucky!
Lady J will be back once a quarter with a new selection of local talent!
