gives us classics master Paul Giamatti babysitting a student whose family is
not taking him home for the Christmas recess. Early 70s wintry Massachusetts
is nostalgically caught, as frosty relations between teacher and pupil gradually
thaw into a common acknowledgement of their frailties.
