When one juror delivers a ‘not guilty’ vote in a murder trial, all twelve must deliberate,
either until they change his mind, or he theirs. Sidney Lumet’s gripping drama is
essentially a piece of filmed theatre, but his television-trained team lend it freshness
and cohesion, with a gallery of emerging talent in front of the camera.
